We deliver Air Conditioning and Dehumidification equipment and services to a wide range of customers: High Street Retail, Schools, Hotel and Catering Industry, Housing Associations, Sports & Leisure Centres, Dental Surgeries, Server Rooms, IT Suites and various domestic applications.
Our personnel are motivated and highly skilled. Our engineers are formally qualified to recognised industry standards with continuing professional development where appropriate. We endeavour to remain current and aware of changes and advances in both the product and working environment.
An NVQ Apprenticeship is a nationally recognised qualification that you can gain whilst in paid employment. It consists of on the job training and classroom based studies in Key Skills/Core Skills and a Technical Certificate.
UMC work alongside ITE (Pargon) Training who offer provision for recruitment and training of apprentices. ITE (Paragon) enrol apprentices on a relevant Air Conditioning and Refrigeration course (currently held at Eastleigh College) and monitor and mentor the apprentices whilst also liasing with UMC the employer. UMC are pleased to offer and support people with the chance of training on an apprenticeship and the prospect of ongoing employment and training when qualified.
