About the Business
The McKiernan Group undertakes all forms of industrial and commercial heating solutions, from warm air and radiant systems to low pressure hot water (LPHW) heating systems within offices, using natural gas, liquid petroleum gas (LPG), electricity or oil. We offer air handling and air conditioning solutions for offices, laboratories, production areas and computer rooms, to name but a few, and are also able to offer complete electrical installations, undertaking all projects to the latest IEE regulations.
More recently, the McKiernan Group has extended its operations into energy conservation for industrial commercial buildings. These applications have resulted in huge financial savings for a growing number of small large and small companies.
Central Plant Systems and Ducted Systems combined with heating, humidification, dehumidification, filtration and heat recovery can achieve almost any pre-set internal conditions, thus ensuring the optimum total environment required for your application or process. This type of system also allows complete control over the distribution of the conditioned air, and the option to utilise several different control strategies.
Other systems can provide cooling and heating for large offices and less complex areas, with multiple ceiling mounted cassette units or ceiling concealed fan units for each single external condensing unit. Generally, systems fall into two types: Comfort Cooling and Close Control Air Conditioning. Each type provides temperature control and can also incorporate heating, ventilation and filtration to provide maximum comfort conditions.
