Probably the leading outlet of its kind in the North-East, family owned and managed Elgin Refrigeration Services has been in existence since 1977.
Over the past two decades the company has diversified from commercial refrigeration to incorporate sales and installation of air-conditioning, super market refrigeration and multi-system shelving and shopfitting.
The sales and service team cover the North of Scotland from Stonehaven in the East to Skye in the West and as far North as Shetland, but the high reputation in which the company is held has been recognised with contracts carried out much further afield, one of which was the installation of fourteen chill rooms in the Falkland Islands. The range and quality of workmanship has also been recognised with contracts undertaken for Health Boards, Education establishments, MOD, District Councils, Convenience Stores, Butchers, Bakers, Restaurants, Hotels and Bars in addition to many other outlets where refrigeration, and a twenty four hour maintenance service is essential.
Since branching into shopfitting almost a decade ago, Elgin Refrigeration Services has gone from strength to strength, and this necessitated an expansion of the original premises to increase storage space and office accommodation in addition to refurbishing the Showroom and extending the workshop area.
We operate a free planning, design and estimating service for a complete shopfit, irrespective of the size of premises, and clients are able to visualise the complete refurbishment of their premises from suspended ceilings and interior lighting down to ceramic floor tiling.
We provide clients with the highest standards by keeping abreast of the strict regulations demanded in the refrigeration food related industries.

Air-conditioning:

Not just cooling but heating too:
Air-conditioning has long been thought of as providing cool air only, but recent advances in the industry have now produced a full environmental controlling system that can heat as well as cool.
Air-conditioning is becoming more widespread as people request cleaner and more comfortable working conditions. We can provide advice and suggestions on the best course of action for your particular needs. Our engineers are fully conversant with most air-conditioning products.
We can also supply and fit air cleansing and deodorising filters. These system trap and neutralise mould, dust, pollen and other particles. The air purifying filters use naturally occurring static electricity to create an inescapable magnetic attraction between dust, mould, ticks and mites and the superfine mesh filter in which they have become ensnared. The carbon enhanced filter (nature's sponge) also helps eliminate many unpleasant odours including cigarette smoke.
Refrigeration Equipment:
We can supply a full range of refrigeration equipment, from cold rooms to small refrigerated cabinets. These include Glass Door Refrigerators and Freezers, with a choice of temperature range, with fan-assisted evaporator and fully automatic defrost.
